undercurrents of the monologue

Ive been in the process of waking up from a dream. While I was away, I scribbled a few lines, hope they make some sense.

Yen

Losing a Hold.....
Its Slipping Through
Hand,
Got Breaths on a String;
...a Silken Strand
*
So Close, So Far,
...a Fond Figure;
Like Melting Shadow
...on Misty
Mirror

Illusion, Mirage, or real
Ecs'tasy;
All Lanterns of
Yen,
All Glint of Glee.....

btw, for me, the first two stanzas are about some illusive realities & lucid dreams. n the last one is their essence.

read the post again. here i m not talking about living in a fantasy world, i have just pointed out some fragile realities of life.

but as far as dreams are concerned, life begins at a dream.

n yess i dream, n it isnt bad that life is not what i want it to be, its infact my real motivation, my inspiration. i dream to realize.

Life, well it does begin with dream(s) but slowly and surely, each dream fades away as you mature and realise the harsh facts of life. . .As I say, I`m a cynic posing as a realist while secretly an optomist. You dream to realize, now thats good. . .

well-written
tip: avoid the capitalizations of words (that are not proper nounse ofcourse) in the lines, for a more dramatic effect

:D
